Policy and Legal Disclaimer ImpulseConnect., Inc. ("ImpulseConnect") is committed to safeguarding your privacy online. Please read the following ImpulseConnect Privacy policy to understand how your personal information will be treated as you make use of our offerings. This Privacy Policy is subject to change upon posting of a new or amended Privacy Policy. Your ImpulseConnect-powered Wi-Fi service is provided to you through your contractual relationship with your service provider, and not directly by ImpulseConnect Networks, Inc. Except for your service provider from which you obtain your Wi-Fi service, to the extent legally permissible, ImpulseConnect Networks, Inc. (including its suppliers, service providers and location providers) and their respective affiliates have no legal liability or responsibility to you for any claims or causes of action, regardless of form or nature of such claim or cause of action (including tort or breach of contract) or the foreseeability of such claim or cause of action arising from ImpulseConnect products and/or services. You shall look solely to your service provider for any questions, complaints, concerns, or claims you have in relation to any ImpulseConnect-powered Wi-Fi Service or related products or services you select, subscribe to, or use. Types of Information We Collect When you access the Internet, the computers that host Web sites you visit (Web servers) automatically receive some anonymous information. This "usage data" may include a record of which pages a Web browser has visited. ImpulseConnect servers receive usage data when customers visit ImpulseConnect Web sites. ImpulseConnect may use usage data to provide advertising about goods and services that may be of interest to ImpulseConnect customers, or to provide customized features and services. ImpulseConnect may collect information in several ways from different parts of our network site or service offerings. For instance, in addition to anonymous information, we may collect information including personal information about you through surveys, sweepstakes, contests or promotions sponsored by ImpulseConnect that you participate in, from when you visit our website. Personal information is any information about you that is personally identifiable like your name, address, email address, or phone number, and that is not otherwise publicly available. It includes information provided at registration and information about how you use the service or the site. Wi-Fi works via radio wave transmissions that are broadcast on public airways between your Unit and the nearest hotspot. Your use of Wi-Fi service may allow others to have unauthorized access to your Unit or monitor or intercept your data transmissions between your Unit and the hotspot. As such, privacy cannot be guaranteed, and ImpulseConnect and its providers and suppliers shall not be liable to you for any lack of privacy you experience while using the Wi-Fi service. Impulse Connect strongly recommends every user runs an anti-virus program and firewall while using Wi-Fi services. It is also recommended that a personal VPN be used to assure over the air transmission. Use of Information We may use the information you provide about yourself to fulfill your requests for our products and services, information or materials, to respond to inquiries about our offerings, for billing purposes, to anticipate or resolve problems with your service and/or to create or offer you other products, programs or services that we believe may be of interest to you. We may also use the information to communicate with you, such as notify you when you have won a contest or when we make changes to our policies. We sometimes use the information you provide to improve the design and/or content of our site. We may also use the information to analyze site usage and requirements, and analyze market-related data and information. Sharing of Personal Information ImpulseConnect does not sell, transfer or disclose personal information to third parties. However, ImpulseConnect (including its providers and suppliers) have the right to intercept and disclose any transmissions over or using their facilities, and to provide User account, or records, and related information under certain circumstances such as needed to satisfy any law, regulation or legal request or law enforcement investigation, or an investigation on a matter of public safety, in the case of imminent physical harm to the customer or others, to protect the integrity of the site, to fulfill your requests, or to protect Impulse Connect's rights or property. ImpulseConnect also may share aggregate, non-personal information regarding usage with our service providers, location providers and suppliers. Such entities may not be covered by this privacy policy and may have a privacy policy of their own. If a site shares personally identifiable information, it will provide you with an opportunity to opt out or block such uses. Although we take appropriate measures to safeguard against unauthorized disclosures of information, the nature of the Wi-Fi services precludes assurance of the security of any information or data you disclose using the service. Users must take personal responsibility to assure the safety of their information and Impulse Connect strongly recommends every user runs an anti-virus program and firewall while using Wi-Fi services. Links to Other Sites We offer access to the internet and links to sites that are not operated by Impulse Connect, particularly to sites operated by third parties. If you visit one of these sites, you should review their privacy and other policies. We are not responsible for the policies and practices of other companies. ImpulseConnect uses advertising companies to deliver ads on some Impulse Connect Web sites and access portals. The advertising companies may also receive some anonymous information about ad viewing by Internet users on ImpulseConnect Web sites and other Internet sites. This information may be associated with a customer's Web browser, but cannot be associated with a name or e-mail address without the customer's permission. (This means that advertising companies may know where your computer goes on the Internet, but they don't know who you are unless you tell them.) ImpulseConnect does not supply customer identifiable information to advertising companies or to individual advertisers or other third parties. If you go to another Web site, including an advertiser's Web site (for example by clicking on an ad), and request information or enter a contest, be aware that you may be authorizing another company, including an advertising company, to use information you supply. It is up to you to review each company's respective privacy policy to understand how they treat any such information. Changes to our Privacy Policy From time to time, Impulse Connect may change this privacy policy, so we suggest that you check here periodically. However, any changes will not be retroactively applied and will not alter how we handle previously collected information. Customer Choice: A customer may receive direct marketing communications from Impulse Connect in connection with ImpulseConnect online services. The customer may. at any time, "opt out" of receiving these communications and upon so doing, Impulse Connect (a) will not contact that customer directly with marketing messages about ImpulseConnect online services, and (b) will not use customer identifiable information obtained from that customer's registration for or use of an online service to contact that customer with marketing messages about any Impulse Connect products or services. A customer may choose not to receive such messages by e-mail, by mail, or by telephone.
